The 8 Laws of Health

The Eight Laws of Health is a NEW START! “Pure air, sunlight, abstemiousness, rest, exercise, proper diet, the use of water, trust in divine power, —these are the true remedies.”

N = Nutrition

The First Law of Health is NUTRITION and DIET. The goal in nutrition is to consume foods that support the body’s natural healing processes and maintain an alkaline state. The Corrective Diet emphasizes the importance of raw, plant-based foods and avoiding processed and acid-forming foods. Here’s how you can apply the Corrective Diet principles to your daily meals:

    • Upon rising, drink one to two glasses of warm water to hydrate and stimulate digestion.
    • Breakfast should consist of a 100% raw morning plate, including a variety of vegetables, carbohydrates from raw tubers like sweet potatoes, and sprouts or microgreens for enzymes and energy. No beverages should be consumed with the meal to ensure optimal digestion.
    • Mid-morning, continue hydrating with water, avoiding food intake to allow the digestive system to process breakfast fully.
    • Lunch is your opportunity for a cooked meal, combining a base of tubers or alkaline grains with a selection of lightly steamed vegetables. Ensure you consume this meal 5 to 6 hours after breakfast.
    • Mid-afternoon, resume your hydration schedule, preparing your body for the evening.
    • Dinner is optional and should be light if consumed. Fresh fruits are recommended, focusing on those that are alkaline-forming. Eat at least 4-5 hours after lunch to allow for proper digestion before sleep.
    • Throughout the day, avoid refined foods and choose a variety of natural, whole foods to ensure adequate intake of balanced nutrients. Eat food as grown, and as much as possible, in its raw state.

By following these guidelines, you’ll support your body’s natural healing processes and maintain a diet that is in harmony with the Corrective Diet’s principles.

E = Exercise

The Second Law of Health remains unchanged, emphasizing the importance of regular physical activity for overall health and well-being.

W = Water

The Third Law of Health is WATER. The Corrective Diet underscores the importance of proper hydration. Drink water upon waking, between meals, and ensure you’re consuming enough to keep your urine colorless and odorless. Avoid drinking with meals to prevent dilution of digestive enzymes.

S = Sunlight

The Fourth Law of Health is SUNLIGHT. Sunlight is essential for vitamin D synthesis and overall health. Practice safe sun exposure by gradually increasing time spent in the sun and avoiding peak hours when UV rays are strongest.

T = Temperance

The Fifth Law of Health is TEMPERANCE. Apply self-control in all aspects of life, including diet. The Corrective Diet encourages eating in moderation and choosing foods that contribute to an alkaline state in the body.

A = Air

The Sixth Law of Health is AIR. Fresh air is vital for health. Practice deep breathing and spend time outdoors to ensure you’re getting plenty of oxygen.

R = Rest

The Seventh Law of Health is REST. Adequate rest is crucial for health and healing. Align your sleep schedule with natural rhythms, ensuring you have a restful environment and fresh air during sleep.

T = Trust

The Eighth Law of Health is TRUST. Trust in a higher power can provide peace and reduce stress, contributing to overall well-being. Incorporate spiritual practices that resonate with you to support your health journey.
